BTOB is making their comeback with their second mini album, ‘Press Play‘, and ahead of their release, the boys have released an audio teaser for their title track, “Wow“!

As mentioned earlier, “Wow” is said to be of “new jack swing” style, which was popular during the ’90s, and incorporates the solid vocal and rap skills of the members.

K-pop male idols BTOB is gearing up to make their comeback with a new album next week, announced their agency Cube Entertainment Tuesday. 

Cube said in a press release that BTOB's second mini-album "press play" as well as their title track "WOW" will become available online and in stores on September 12. 

The agency explained that the overall concept and theme to BTOB's "press play" will be related to the retro music stylings from the 1990s, while "WOW" features the melody by Kim Do-hoon and lyrics by famed producers Seo Jae-woo and Seo Yong-bae.

Along with the news of their new album and comeback, BTOB released a pop art teaser image of one of the members, raising curiosity amongst fans on their record. 

BTOB, which stands for ‘Born TO Beat,' is composed of SHIN PENIEL D., LEE CHANGSUB, SEO EUNKWANG, LEE MINHYUK, JUNG ILHOON, YOON SUNGJAE and LIM HYUNSIC. 

The group has been focusing on their singing activities overseas after releasing their Asia special edition album in May.

It seems that Cube Entertainment's male group BTOB will be making their comeback next week with their 2nd mini-album, "Press Play."

On September 4th at 3PM KST, Cube Entertainment posted on their official Twitter account, "Press Play>>>>>>>>>BTOB! 120912 You'll be amazed with 'WOW' so put your hands together! WOW!!" and published a colorful photo.

The image teaser has a 90s retro feel featuring an intense, pop art image of one of the members holding a "W" sign with their hands to represent the title track "WOW."

"WOW" will have a 90s retro sound mixed with dark, but cool nostalgic sounds. The rap style in the title track will sound like a swing style used back in the 90s.

Earlier today, a photo of BTOB's Sungjae with "Reply 1997" stars Seo Inguk and A Pink's Eunji was posted on their official Facebook account, who also held up the "W" signs. The post read, "Hold on tight Melodies, you are all in for a wild ride!"
